Donate to Kelowna fire evacuees
Most of us have seen or heard the news that the Kelowna area is fighting several wildfires again. Telus has again started a donations drive. At the moment they are collecting things like toiletries and cash donations. Here's the phone numbers for donating:
call 604-697-8184 or 1-866-697-8184 and get information about mailing in a donation.
Checks need to be made out to Telus Community Ambassadors.
The phone numbers above crashed Sunday due to all the callers, so if you can't get through, try again in a little while.
Want to donate to the BCSPCA? Help out with their emergency shelter services for pets that have been evacuated, call 250-861-7722. Donations of cash are always grateful from those that can't physically help with hay, pet food, kennels, etc.
